Brussels, March 2025 – COLLECTIBLE 2025 Brings a Bold Czech Presence to Brussels: A Fusion of Tradition, Innovation, and Design Excellence. 8th edition of COLLECTIBLE BRUSSELS will host Czech artists and designers for second time. COLLECTIBLE, the premier international fair dedicated to 21st-century collectible design, returns to the Vanderborght Building from March 13 to 16, 2025, with an exclusive VIP Press Preview & Vernissage on March 12. This year, the Czech Republic steps into the spotlight with an extraordinary showcase of visionary artists and designers redefining the fusion of art, design, heritage and modernity.

Led by CzechTrade , government trade promotion agency of the Czech Republic, as the main organizer, and supported by national cultural institute Czech Centre Brussels, alongside the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic, the Permanent Representation of the Czech Republic to the EU, the Embassy of the Czech Republic to the Kingdom of Belgium, and the Representation of the Pilsen Region to the EU, the Czech presence at COLLECTIBLE 2025 is a testament to the country’s dynamic, traditional yet evolving design scene.

Meet the Czech Artists, Designers and Brands Shaping the professionalism of Czech design
The Czech national participatnts selection brings together range of designers representing the wide range of Czech artdesign scene, each contributing a unique narrative to contemporary collectible design. The selection includes works in traditional Czech materials glass and porcelain as well as iconic czechoslovak furniture designers. Emerging glass artists are represented by Johan Pertl and Eliška Monsportová. Renowned Czech independent design brands are represented by Qubus feat. sculptor and conceptual artist Jakub Berdych Karpelis. Czechoslovak collectible iconic furniture will be presented by Nanovo.
  • Johan Pertl’s Flow collection s a mesmerizing study of movement, light, and form, crafted through sustainable glass techniques that minimize energy consumption. COLLECTIBLE 2025 marks another milestone in Czech-Belgian design collaborations. Following Liv Vaisberg’s visit to the Czech Republic and presenting COLLECTIBLE at Designblok 2024 in Prague, this year’s showcase deepens the dialogue between Czech artists, designers, brands and studios and the international design community. With its bold mix of contemporary and heritage-driven approaches, the Czech presentation offers a fresh perspective on Czech collectible design and its journey to art and design collectors, collections.
