In the Czech Republic around 18% of industrial companies use robots. Robots are used by 9% of small businesses. In the automotive segment, 55% entities used industrial robots. Also more than 40% of companies in the Czech Republic use Internet of Things devices.

Industrial or service robots were used by 18% of companies with ten or more employees in the manufacturing industry in 2020. According to the Czech Statistical Office survey the robotic automation is the domain of mainly large companies (60%).

The survey also showed that more than 40% of companies in the Czech Republic use Internet of Things devices. The Internet of Things is most significantly used by companies in the field of logistics to monitor the movement of goods or the operational status of vehicles.
