Surveillance system will monitor the traffic at the largest airport in Bavaria, Germany

Czech company ERA will add seven more stations to the surveillance system monitoring the traffic at the airport in Munich, Germany. The customer Flughafen München (Airport Munich) will thus solve the need to monitor aircraft movements at utility areas near the newly built terminal.

The number of stations in the system securing the safety of the largest airport in Bavaria will grow to 47. Movements of service vehicles are monitored by 310 SQUID beacons located on rooves of cars driving in the airport perimeter. Tests before the operation launch are scheduled for the spring of 2022.
