Czech companies are jumping on the sustainability wagon. Many Czech businesses are switching to lower-carbon operations and have formed a new alliance to accelerate the transition. The Alliance for an Emission-Free Future aims to facilitate decarbonization so Czech firms can reduce emissions without losing competitiveness. For instance, the major power supplier CEZ plans to convert heating plants to natural gas by 2029. This move indicates major change in the thought process amongst Czech businesses and their willingness to shift to the zero carbon approach to business in the Czech Republic.
