U.S. chipmaker Onsemi is considering a USD 2 billion investment to expand chip manufacturing at its plants in the U.S., South Korea, or Czechia. The  decision of the US chipmaker is to be made by the end of February 2024.  To support these types of  strategic investments, the Czech government planst  to  amendment  the investment incentive laws in the parliament, early 2024.
