ČEZ Prodej installed 2,506 household photovoltaic (PV) power plants in H1 2023, up 55% y/y. The company installed most rooftop solar systems in the Central Bohemia region (747), roughly 30% of the total. Central Bohemia was followed by Plzeň Region (376) and Moravia-Silesia Region (222). ČEZ Prodej CEO Tomáš Kadlec added that the company installed 12,000 solar power plants in total. Almost 70% of households purchased PV in H1 2023 in combination with a battery system.
