Passenger car prices increasing but growth slowing

Car prices in the Czech Republic increased nominally by only 0.6 %.

Car prices in the Czech Republic increased nominally by only 0.6< % (CZK 4,496) on average from January to July 2023. The largest  increase of 3.4 % (CZK 48,160) was recorded in the prices of plug-in  hybrid cars.

For LPG-powered cars, the price increase amounts to  2 % )CZK 8,246). The price index of the company Ernst & Young (EY) also shows that the prices of cars with a diesel engine rose by 0.8 % (CZK 7,929). The prices of gasoline cars stagnated, and prices of  cars with a hybrid drive decreased by 1.3 % (CZK 10,783).

According< to the consulting company, the trend of increasing the list prices of  passenger cars is on the decline with gradually disappearing  obstacles in supply chains.
