Singapore is one of the global hubs for financial technology/ fintech. On 23rd of January 2024, online seminar was organized to introduce Singapore's fintech ecosystem. This online seminar was one of the activities to prepare for the joint Czech participation in the Singapore Fintech Festival 2024.

 

The agenda of the online seminar had four parts. In the first part, Mr. Ladislav Graner, Director at CzechTrade Singapore Office shared basic information about Singapore and introduced the scope of CzechTrade´s support (with a special focus on the long-term support) offered to Czech companies expanding to Singapore/ to South East Asia region. In the second part, Mr. Shakeel Rashid, Head of Partnerships & Communications at Singapore Fintech Association, introduced the Singapore fintech ecosystem. In the third part, Ms. Caren Tso, Government and International Relations Manager at Elevandi, presented the Singapore Fintech Festival, which is the key event in Singapore/ in South East Asia across financial technology fields and attracts thousands of participants from all over the world every year. And in the final, fourth part, was opportunity was Q&As.

 

The online seminar was attended by about thirty representatives of Czech fintech/ fintech related companies.
