Škoda announces new Kodiaq SUV, updating the original after seven years. The car comes with a new interior and a range of technical features.

Škoda Auto, Czechia’s largest car manufacturer and a member of the Volkswagen Group, introduces a second generation of its largest SUV model Kodiaq. Named after an Alaskan bear, Kodiaq was originally unveiled in 2016 and was an instant hit, winning several awards across Europe and selling over 841,000 vehicles globally.

Now getting a re-introduction, Kodiaq boasts design, spaciousness and technology. Calling itself the “companion for a modern family”, the new Kodiaq seats up to seven people and combines a crisp, timeless design with a vast number of comfort and safety features. The engine is the buyer’s choice, ranging from diesel-only to plug-in hybrid petrol power, all meeting the latest emission standards.

The first cars should appear on the market end of March 2024, first in the mother countries of Czechia and Germany, closely followed by the United Kingdom and some other European markets, while the rest of the world will have to wait until the second half of the year.
