By 2032, Czech Railways plans to invest over CZK 164bn in new
vehicles. It currently has 110 RegioPanter electric units, 76 RegioFox
motor units, 20 nine-car ComfortJet express trains and 50 Siemens
Vectron electric locomotives for a speed of 230 km/h on order.
Competitions were also announced for the supply of up to 47
additional electric units for regional transport, 15 units powered by
traction lines and batteries for the Moravia-Silesia Region, 90
electric units for the Prague agglomeration and 60 units for national
express lines, designed for speeds of up to 200 km/h.
